foreword: We feel the rating system we at Teacher Tools have chosen is fairly straightforward and easy to understand. Though we only show a 1 to 3 apple rating on any of the links our system is actually built of the traditional 1 to 5 rating scale, with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. The five point scale is widely deployed throughout the net, but it is rare the 1 or 2 is ever assigned. This is simply because that no one would want to put links on their site that they themselves did not rank as noteworthy. Below is an explanation of what we feel each of the apples signifies.

Single Apple Rating |
The single apple site is good enough to have caught our attention. Often times it poses a few good points and garners further investigation if time allows. While not the best possible site, it is still a very solid site and might well have some tidbit of information that you are looking for.

Double Apple Rating |
The double apple site is well above the crowd as far as sites go. It is an excellent resource of information and ideas. While certain parts of the site may not be as good as they could be, it is still a site to be reckoned with. These sites are almost always worth your time to check out.

Triple Apple Rating |
The triple apple site is the definitive example of what one is looking for in a website. It has excellent content, is usually very well through out. On average these are must visit links, and the kind of resources that you will want to be going back to time and again.
